Hello CSTF community,

We’re looking for a dedicated Wild Cloud Education Lead to develop educational resources that make self-hosting technology understandable and achievable for individuals and communities without technical backgrounds.

What we’re looking for:

An experienced educator who can bridge the gap between complex Kubernetes infrastructure and practical understanding for everyday users. You’ll focus on making Wild Cloud’s sophisticated platform approachable through clear, hands-on educational content that follows our established accessible style.

Key qualifications we need:

  • 3+ years of technical educational content development experience

  • Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, accessible language

  • Understanding of self-hosted infrastructure, containers, and basic networking concepts

  • Experience with adult education and hands-on technical training

  • Commitment to making technology accessible to non-technical users

What you’d be doing:

You’ll develop learning materials in the Wild Cloud Learning Library, create step-by-step deployment guides, design progressive learning curricula, develop practical workshops, and build comprehensive troubleshooting documentation. You’ll focus on helping people transition from complete beginners to competent Wild Cloud operators.

This is currently a volunteer leadership position that may transition to paid as the project grows.
