We’re seeking a dynamic Wild Cloud Community Development Manager to build and nurture vibrant communities of Wild Cloud operators, contributors, and advocates working toward practical digital independence through self-hosted infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:

An experienced community builder who understands both the technical challenges of self-hosting and the importance of mutual support in achieving digital independence. You’ll create communities of practice where people help each other deploy, operate, and improve their Wild Cloud infrastructure.

Key qualifications we need:

  • 3+ years of community management experience, preferably in technical or open-source contexts

  • Familiarity with self-hosted infrastructure and the challenges of digital independence

  • Ability to facilitate discussions about complex technical topics across different skill levels

  • Deep commitment to digital self-determination and practical autonomy

  • Experience building inclusive communities across different time zones and cultures

What you’d be doing:

You’ll build community spaces for Wild Cloud operators, create peer support networks, facilitate knowledge sharing between users, organize testing programs for new releases, coordinate community contributions, and support local Wild Cloud meetups and user groups.
