Hello CSTF community,
We’re looking for a passionate Fund Development Manager to lead our fundraising efforts and secure the resources needed to advance CSTF’s mission of digital self-determination through open-source, self-hosted technologies.
What we’re looking for:
An experienced fundraiser who understands how to authentically communicate the importance of digital self-determination to diverse audiences. You’ll need to balance traditional fundraising effectiveness with our principles of transparent governance, community-driven growth, and ethical engagement.
Key qualifications we need:

3-5 years of fundraising experience, preferably with technology-focused nonprofits

Grant writing and foundation relationship management experience

Understanding of open-source technology and digital rights issues

Experience with major donor cultivation and corporate partnership development

Alignment with our values of transparency and community empowerment
What you’d be doing:
You’ll develop comprehensive fundraising strategies, write compelling grant proposals, cultivate relationships with major donors, and create sustainable funding streams that respect our principles. This includes supporting Wild Cloud development, educational initiatives, and community programs while maintaining our commitment to transparent governance.
This is currently a volunteer leadership position that may transition to paid as we secure funding.
